U.S. Presidents
This is a 9th grade history project based lesson plan. The name of the projectis titled " U.S. Presidents!" The object of this lesson plan is for students to learn the history and interesting facts of the assigned presidents. Students will be split into groups of four, and each group will discuss the knowledge they know on their president. Students then will collect research in their groups using iCurio. Last students will produce a presentation as a group using Google slides. Please view my lesson plan and rubric in the links posted below!

ReplyDeleteI really liked your lesson and thinks students would enjoy it. The only suggestion I have is to go beyond the normal "presentation". I have seen so many presentation lesson plans lately I may just be taking it out on you. Why not have the groups dress up as the president and make a script to present to the class. Have the audience "guess" who they are. You could also have the students present the president by a "trademark" of that president. Some major bill he passed, famous slogan, etc. Have the students use technology to research the presidents and gather information and then have their final product be something really cool. I can assure you 9th grade students are not going to be super thrilled and engaged to create a presentation.
Good lesson plan, but that's all it was. Don't be afraid to be creative!!
